Gdańsk sightseeing tour 4 days / 3 nights

Gdańsk is famous for its numerous attractions which are instantly identified with the city. These symbolic silhouettes certainly include: the massive brick bulk of St Mary’s Basilica towering over the city, the rich Renaissance facades of the houses around the Long Market and the statue of Neptune reigning over what is acclaimed as one of the most beautiful market places in Europe.
The symbols also certainly include the Medieval Crane which stoops, dozing, on the Motława bank. This city on the Baltic coast with thousand years of history has been the hometown of Hevelius, Fahrenheit, Schopenhauer, Grass and Wałęsa.

Above all, however, it ranks high on the list of top tourist attractions.
1st Day.

Arrival at the airport (Gdańsk), pick-up by driver. Transfer to the chosen hotel in Gdańsk. Check-in, free time until dinner. Dinner at the hotel restaurant.
Accommodation at the hotel.

2nd Day.

After breakfast all-day Gdańsk sightseeing. The tour starts from Old Town. We visit Upland Gate, Gateway to Long Street, Golden Gate, Neptune Fountain, Church of Blessed Virgin Mary, Crane and a lot of attractive places and buildings. After walk along Long Steet, transfer to Oliwa – one of Gdańsk districts, which is recognized for its cathedral, with famous organ. This great Oliwa organ was designed and constructed between 1763 and 1788 by Johann Wilhelm Wulff.

After seeing the cathedral – short organ concert. After concert – transfer to Sopot, where we walk through Monte Cassino Street to the longest wooden pier by Baltic Sea (approx. 0,5 km long). Return to the hotel for a dinner. Accommodation at the hotel.
3rd Day

After breakfast transfer to the Malbork, where we visit the Castle of the Teutonic Order. This Castle is the largest castle in the world by surface area, and the largest brick building in Europe. It was built in Prussia by the Teutonic Knights, a German Roman Catholic religious order of crusaders, in a form of an Ordensburg fortress. The Order named it Marienburg (Mary’s Castle).

The town which grew around it was also named Marienburg. After castle tour return to Gdańsk and leisure time for the rest of a day. Dinner at the hotel restaurant. Accommodation at the hotel.



4th Day. Departure

After breakfast transfer to the airport. Fly back home.
